SSB Frequency Translator

This PDF file describes a frequency transverter which was developed for a channel sounder which operated in the 1800MHz band. It was desired to shift the operating frequency into the 2450MHz band. A rubidium source was used for generating the reference signals, although a crystal oscillator was provided for standalone operation of the local oscillator.

This work was carried out for general educational and research purposes at Victoria University as well as for projects supported by the Australian Telecommunications Cooperative Research Center.
